Around here people seem to think old Mac's are made of gold... one of
the local junk shops has an LC475 priced at $150 while much newer and
more capable PCs go straight to the trash. When I asked the store owner
about it he seriously claimed it was the ideal computer for "doing
graphics"... I picked up an identical unit at Value Village for $10 ;-)
Here's a trick that seems to work... if you spot an Apple II in a pawn
shop that you're interested in, find an excuse to "pop the hood" then
shake your head sadly and say it's a shame the hard drive is missing...
probably get a few bucks knocked off the price :)
