There are multiple copies of Zork Zero on Asimov, at least according to
the apple2.org.za mirror I checked. 

There's a large (819K) dsk file, which I assume contains the whole
game, in the "unsorted" directory:

You'll also find copies of the Zork Zero maps in that directory as well.

Also, there are two versions of disk 1 for Zork Zero buried farther
down in the archive:

ture/infocom/zork_zero/

That contains both a "zork_zero_1.dsk" and a "zorkzero1new.dsk" file.
Perhaps the newer alternative will fix the problem?

I'm not sure if those files will work better, but they're what first
came to mind so I thought I'd raise my hand.
