Weird iigs board

I picked up a iigs, and it has some weird board in it.  Its plugged in
the memory expansion slot.  It's three boards fused together.  It has
a plug attached to the case that sorta looks like it accept european
power plugs.  The outer boards are memory boards, the inner one has
leds on it.  I can't see any printing on the inside board.

Sound board?  Packet Radio board?  Network board?  Any info is
appreciated.
