Not only is it safe, but it's down-right
necessary. I use Copy II Plus's command:
VERIFY/DISK SPEED, a blank formatted disk
and no other disk drives or adapter cards
installed. The range I believe, IIRC is
198-202 MS. The drive I tested to get this
info for you is running at 199.5/7, and
I won't change it. Good Luck.
