I have an Apple II Parallel Interface Card with part numbers
670-0021-___ and 820-0047-B with the cable and manual(#A2l0045).
The manual has a schematic and a firmware listing -- ahhh, the
good old days.

"Most commonly used printers will operate correctly with the
following switch settings:

 Switch: SW1 SW2 SW3 SW4 SW5 SW6 SW7
Setting: OFF OFF OFF ON ON OFF OFF"

Strobe Length (SW1-SW3)

         SW1 SW2 SW3
  1 usec OFF OFF OFF
  3 usec ON OFF OFF
  5 usec OFF ON OFF
  7 usec ON ON OFF
  9 usec OFF OFF ON
 11 usec ON OFF ON
 13 usec OFF ON ON
 15 usec ON ON ON

Strobe Output Polarity (SW4)

     SW4
 Neg ON
 Pos OFF

Acknowledge Input Polarity (SW5)

     SW5
 Neg ON
 Pos OFF

Firmware Selection (SW6)
The Centronics firmware is the same as the
old Apple Centronics Interface Card.
The Parallel firmware is the same as the
old Apple Parallel Printer Interface Card.

                                   SW6
Centronics (no auto LF after CR) ON
Parallel (auto LF after CR) OFF

Interrupt or No Interrupt (SW7)

              SW7
 Interrupt ON
 No Interrupt OFF
