     I do not know of any games which work _only_ with an Apple IIe. In a few
cases-- such as a few games which use Mockingboard sound-- you may not get
all of the game's features on a IIgs; but, then, the game will probably run
on a II+ with a Mockingboard.

     In the early days of Apple II gaming, there were a few II/II+ games
which included a ROM check to make sure the user didn't have a cracking ROM
installed. That sort of checking became a lot less common once the IIe was
introduced because game makers wanted to sell their games to all Apple II
(and Apple II clone) users.
