I have a ROM 01 IIgs with a Vulcan power supply and a 250Mb Seagate SCSI
HD, 5Mb RAM, and a Video Overlay Card.

I bought it in approximately 1992, and have only shut it off for brief
intervals for parts replacement, power failures, etc.

GS/OS has no uptime utility. Pity. I had to restart mine recently to
engage a control panel change, but other than that, this thing runs
nonstop, and has run non-stop (monitor off when not in use) for a dozen years.

I don't think you need to shut down a IIgs. 8-)
