    Correct...Zip GSX does not need original 65816 chip, but it will work
without it.  In fact, Zip GSX's socket is designed to hold original 65816
chip so you don't have to put it in the safe place because sometimes you may
not remember to find it if you decide to put it back to the motherboard
rather than using Zip GSX.
    Please make sure that you get the correct type of oscillator otherwise
it can damage Zip GSX.  Check FAQ that there is already answers.  Hope it
