The stuff I pulled from the mirror totalled 800+ MB - with no pruning. I 
can make it into a compressed Mac disk image of about 650MB (that's how 
I'm going to give a copy to my son).

Not sure what I have you don't can do a listing text file for 
comparison, if anyone wants.
