Re: HD 5 1/4 disks on Apple //?



   Now that is interesting that the DISK ][ couldn't format a HD disk. 
In the past I have formatted 3 1/2 disks as DD.  There been a few times
where I was in a pinch and I needed a disk for the Apple //.  Does I
put tape over the hole and used it as a DD.    

    I do realize how unstable they are once you do this, but I have to
say, after 4 years in storage those disks are the ones are more likely
to work for somereason.
