If you have a sound card that records raw audio you could "simply"
attach a .wav header to the files. I used .wav files as source material
for my drum machine/sequencer program and removed the headers so they
would play nicely using Michael Mahon's soft DAC (check one of his posts
for the download address)... even though I had a couple of sound cards
that were capable of recording on a  an A2, it was a _lot_ easier to
record the files on a Mac first and then transfer them to the A2. Of
course, recording on a PC would have been even easier (avoiding file
forks), but I don't have one.
