The aux slot is mechanically and electrically different than "normal"
Apple II slots.  Cards designed for the aux slot will not work in a normal
slot, and vice versa.

It is theoretically possible to make a card that will work in either slot
by having two separate edge connectors on the card, but I'm not aware of
this ever having been done, nor of any good reason to do it.
