ADT pretty much has DOS 3.3 wired in. Fortunately, that does not affect
the content of the diskettes you transfer.

Mainly, ADT wants the disk image to be a standard .dsk disk image which
uses DOS 3.3 sector ordering. Nearly all .dsk images use DOS 3.3 sector
ordering whatever DOS is booted. For instance, PDUTIL.DSK and PDTCOM.DSK are
DOS 3.3 order disk images which boot ProDOS and run ProDOS software on
emulators like AppleWin.

So, you can transfer a disk that boots ProDOS and has ProDOS software as
easily as one that boots and runs DOS 3.3 stuff.

The target diskette for an ADT transfer needs to be a DOS 3.3 or ProDOS
formatted diskette. It doesn't matter whether or not there are any files on the
diskette; and, most of the time, it doesn't matter whether it's formatted for
DOS 3.3 or ProDOS.
