ADT is a dual program communication for sending
.DSK images to the Apple II for writing them to
real disks. With a Super Serial card, no null modem
cable is needed. A straight thru cable will work.
There is a jumper block on the card that emulates
the null adapter. I believe when pointed to modem
it emulates a null cable, and when pointed to terminal
it emulates a terminal. I think I have ADT for PC
available on my site although I can't remember for
sure. You can go see on my downloads page. If not,
I have it here and can email it to you. The Apple II
side of the ADT program gets sent to the Apple II
via the serial port by way of the command IN#2, when
the card is in slot 2. Use an ASCII send with a terminal
program on the PC and be sure to have a delay between
lines so that the Apple can keep up with it. 300 baud
is best for this transfer and the program will be saved
to disk automatically at the end of the transfer.
If you need any further help, I am sure you'll get
several more answers with links to FAQs on this and
there is also plenty of directions inside the actual
ADT zip file. As I said, try my site and if you can't
find it there I can email it to you. The link to my
site is below in the signature block.
