Re: Failed 5.25" Disk Drives

I was thinking the same thing. I was wondering if those bad drives
somehow blow the controller chip on the drives. I have had some DISK
][ drives do this to me. I remeber buying a new chip at a local
electronics store (no longer open.. :( ) and all was good. I have
never took a Unidisk 5.25 apart (I perfer the DISK ][ as well) but I
would asume that it's the same thing... :/
