Yes that was my second thought, too, after posting. Would be quite more easy. Especially after looking on the memory map.

Thx :)

Yes, i found those faqs, and after some searching the red book, too. Phew, if i compare this book to what you get nowadays supplied
with your stuff... well ok :)
But of cause Floppy isn't covered in it.
I've found some demo-code in the Redbook for reading/writing Memory to/from floppy, tho. I wouldn't call it documented but i can go
figure :)
But for Floppy I haven't found anything suitable yet. I dont care for dos commands, i need to know how to read and writ a track off
the disk.
Well I'll keep on searching. I won't have time in the next 2 weeks anyhow to play around with it.

Well, sure, after i've found the docs :)
And thank you all for your answers!
To Ralph: I don't collect stamps, sorry
To Bill: Sure, but I'm to lazy to buy the stuff and build the cable. And this programm needs DOS and i don't have it
And - btw - playing and transfering comes second after hacking and coding :)
