Sure, even though the LG DVD drive claims to have region code
enforcement in hardware.
And I need it too, I have a good number of european DVDs.
The region code business is really a scandal. Big film
companies created it for their short term business plans
but there are a lot of DVDs that are only made in one
region -- I have several DVDs from Germany that are not
available as region 1 (USA) discs. It's utterly ridiculous
that I'm not supposed to be able to play them where and
