I got my Transwarp upgrade from Joaquim a couple of years ago. He
includes the ROM 1.8, and somehow there are 3 chips instead of 4. The
board has the chips between the card and the daughterboard. It looks
really sleek.
If you make your own, It's hard to come by the 600 mil chips. If you
have to get adaptors and the 300 mill chips the board is so wide, it
makes the next slot unusable.
The TW cable is supposed to be a weak link. You might also want to
order a cable from Joaquim.
And while you are at it you can get a better 14mhz chip from WDC. The
current one they offer is supposed to be more stable. With a new
oscillaotor you can make a dandy 12 mhz speed machine.
