There's also a utility called "FileTyper", which does the same as
Flipper, but also lets you set Finder (Mac) flags for the file.  It
comes with a tool called "Make AutoTyper", which lets you set those
options, then make a small drag-and-drop application that does the
modifications to any file/folder dropped on it.  The d&d app can
process many files at once, and you can set it to selectively target or
ignore certain dropped files based on their current flags and
type/creator.  I used this a lot in my 7.x days, but don't remember
where I found it.
