You are correct. Who ever said anything about building the boards
at home? They would have to be manufactured.

Funny, I never have figured out how to plug a used iMac into a slot
in my Apple IIe. How do you do that?

Seriously, I'm not talking about building a computer just to run
AppleWin. I'm talking about building a combination accelerator/
graphics card for Apple IIs -- like a combined Zip & Second Sight
card. Not a whole new Apple II.
