Hi Jay,
It is an 8-bit program but works very well with the IIgs. From Finder
it has the ability to launch DOS 3.3 disk images by simply double
clicking on them and auto adjust your system speed down to 1MHz if you
choose to. It's very handy.
In the 8-bit world though it requires an additional program that
allows you to set the ProDOS 8 startup protocol for DOS3.3.LAUNCHER.
This is something that isn't supported directly under BASIC.SYSTEM and
the readme suggests using ProSel for this. Personally I've always
used Davex and recommend that.
As far as availability goes you can pick this up on most Apple II
related ftp repositories. The best place would be Andrew Roughan's
web site (http://home.ozonline.com.au/klajr/apple/) since he took over
the program from John McLean many years ago.
