The info straight from the PS box is:
Input: 120v AC - 60Hz - 16W
Output: 9v AC - 1000 mA
Since the output is AC, the polarity is a mute point.
Mine actually reads 11v AC with the red in the center
and 10.9v AC with the black in the center. I think you
have found your glitch. Glad to have been of help.
