Thanks, again, for your reply. While the CPU connector and cable on
the TWGS could be at fault, I don't see why the crashes would still
occur when the TWGS is removed and the original 40-pin DIP CPU swapped
back in. Thank you, though, for the information. I'll file it away in
case it's needed later. BTW, I know that the TWGS does not have to be
in any particular slot since it only uses the slot for power to the
card (isn't that right?). How far away from Slot 3 have you
successfully mounted the TWGS, i.e. how long of a CPU cable have you
made reliably? I'd think that long, unshielded ribbon cable carrying
logic signals under several cards oscillating at high frequencies
wouldn't be a good thing for EMI and induction of noise.
