I've got GS/OS installed on my IDE drives and I work from them, but I thought
it would be neat to add a CD-ROM to access large amounts of data (or programs)
quickly. So you say I should just use the advanced disk utilities. Do these
work on SCSI drives only? And would you know why the Apple SCSI utilities don't
show my drive? I can't load a CD-ROM either... >>

Since you have GS/OS installed on an IDE drive make sure you have the SCSI
drivers installed also or you will only be able to see SCSI devices in 8 bit
mode.
