Search back through old posts. Someone has a website showing it or the
older model with a couple of jagged lines where it didn't matchup 100%on his
IIGS.

In continuation of the (occasional) recent discussion of converting the
Apple IIgs's RGB video output to VGA for use on a PC-style VGA monitor,
there's a new gadget on the market that, although intended for use with
RGB output from video game consoles, supposedly handles the IIgs's RGB
cleanly...
Has anyone had a chance to play with Micomsoft's XRGB-2? I'd love to
get my hands on one, but don't have $180+ US to fork out for one right
now. If anyone has had the chance to try it, I'd like to know how well
it works and if there are any quirks in signal translation.
My GS lives in a very tight area on a shelf over my tiny computer desk
which holds my dual Mac monitors, one of them VGA. Besides getting
clean video from my GS on a larger monitor, and a promise of
backward-compatibility from future monitors after my AppleColor RGB
craps out, this would be a great solution to my desk-space problem.
(For those who care, I've already made an [ADB + analog stereo sound]
A/B switch to share one keyboard, mouse, and monitor's built-in
speakers between Mac and GS. It works much better than expected.)
