The fact that it's a complete, turnkey and unmolested package probably helps
keep the value up.

I think that $227 is high for this system, but I do understand why some
folks pay more for complete eBay systems.  They don't have to scrounge
garage sales, scrap dealers and thrift stores and they get everything all at
once.  Instant gratification can be worth extra sometimes.

Besides, you're talking maybe $100 more then the system would cost to pull
together from parts.  That's not really a lot of money to a working
professional and it's nothing compared to what the machine originally sold
for.
