Isn't that what Ed just posted about in the quote above?  It looks
like IIgs RGB to component video only requires hooking up a Mac RGB to
VGA adapter to the IIgs RGB out and hooking a VGA to component video
adapter between from that to the component input on your display.
Kind of like this:

  IIgs --> Mac to VGA adapter --> VGA to component adapter --> Display

At least, that is the impression I got from Ed's post.
