IIGS ADB mouse - Can it be adapted to IIe/IIc use??

     IIGS (ADB) MOUSE --- CAN IT BE ADAPTED FOR IIE/IIC USE?

	The Macintosh lab here at the college gave me about 20-25 older 
ADB mouses, because they are switching entirely to the G3/G4 optical 
mouses that use LED lights inside.   Some of these ADB mouses work, some 
do not. All have the ADB plug which is compatible with the IIgs.

	Most of my typing is on the IIC+, my favorite computer. I really 
need more IIe/IIC mouses.   

QUESTION: Can the ADB-style IIgs mouse be adapted for use with the IIe / IIc? Is it merely a matter of connecting a 
DB-9 plug?? Also, which wires should be connected between the DB-9 plug 
color code to the color code of the IIGS ADB mouse??

If DB-9 pin-outs are given, be sure to specify whether the pin-out 
description is "looking down the barrel"  vs.  "looking down the breech" 
of the DB-9 plug.
