Yes, a simply cleaning will do the job.

Basically, open up the cover, unscrew to remove the 'stick' where it
attached to the 'pot'. Then  prick open the 'clip' to open the pot and clean
it with alcohol solution using cotton tips. Put back the pot and test it
with Arkanid game if it requires further cleaning. Lastly, finish up with
assembling it back.
