If Apple finally decides to crack the ethusiast market,
they can sell a version of the G5 Mac aimed at
gaming enthusiast (to compete with the likes of
Alienware, Voodoo, and the like) armed with the
latest ATi gaming graphics card and Audigy2
sound card. The thing can have the "workstation"
features removed to cut costs and instead
concentrate on ethusiast features like frame
rates, drive access times, etc.
To top it off, Apple could recycle another name.
This could be the Macintosh IIGS. ;-)
