Thanks Bill. Actually, I already have (and *registered*) a copy of
CiderPress. Nice program, but doesn't write directly to ProDOS disk
images. Also, no command-line interface that I know of. The
command-line interface is really handy in the code/test/debug cycle.
Using a GUI slows the process down..
I may write a hack myself, but if I do it would probably take a single
input file (binary) and build a new disk image with that one file on
it (+PRODOS, +BASIC.SYSTEM). It wouldn't be pretty, but it would
work. To do it *right* would take quite a bit longer; I'll look into
it, though. I've got Beneath Apple ProDOS and the ProDOS-8 Tech Ref.
Maybe FaddenSoft or the guy who wrote Apple ][ Oasis can hack
something together pretty quickly with the routines they have. That
would be nice! I think I'll drop an e-mail off to Fadden now.. I'll
let you know if I get a reply.
