Before getting one of the fancy disk-notching gadgets (back when programmers
were coding in between fending off dinosaur attacks...or something like
that), I just used a single-hole paper punch. You should be able to find
one of those in any office-supply store for a dollar or two. Unless someone
unloads a ton of disk notchers on eBay, that'll likely be your only option.
Speaking of eBay, I searched for "disk notcher" and actually found
one...looks like it's a bit sturdier than mine:

The auction ends in 7 hours and has a couple of bids in already...at about
$3 or so, it's still cheap. Don't know how much shipping from Australia
