It's probably much less. We discussed something similar in c.s.cbm some 
time ago, and the result was (IIRC) that 	all major archives combined 
would fit on three CD-Rs[1]. Bear in mind that a compressed disk image 
is usually less than 100k, so that a CD-R can contain at least 7000 disk 
images. 

Given that the amount of software for the Apple II is probably less than 
that for the C-64/C-128 (I really don't want to start a flamewar here -- 
correct me if I'm wrong), you should expect 1 to 2 GB, not 10.

I doubt that any sane person would try to officially market such a 
compilation -- there are too many copyright and trademark problems 
involved. Shipping it with the C-1 would jeopardize the entire project.
