Actually, most Macs had LocalTalk hardware and Appletalk
protocols built-into the system until lately.

There was a Farallon, nee Apple, 8-bit ISA card for the PC
that supported LocalTalk.  I don't know whether it works on
fast PC (with ISA, I guess that would be up to 300MHz.  ;-).
