Not only is it not a hoax, but hold on to your keyboards because Hans has
discovered the memory expansion port on the IIc.  Perhaps these machines will
finally become portable!  Think of it:
1.  Pull the current 1Meg memory card and install the IIc version of the
AnyCard with 16Megs of Ram on the card, as well as the Amiga clockport,
2.  Gut the 3.5 or 5.25 drive and install a USB hub so a quarter-Gig hard drive
could be plugged in on, say, a memory stick, 
3.  Plug in a portable, USB flat screen monitor, and maybe a mouse or touchpad,
4.  Now, someone can figure out an adapter for current battery pack, even the
kind that sit under the entire footprint of the laptop, then the IIc would
indeed be portable and come of age.
