I've the same problem with OS 9 on a Beige G3, 7600 or 8600. I remember that the 7600 wrote to ProDOS floppies when it had OS 7.6 but stopped writing them with either OS 8 or 8.5. I have a hybrid computer running OS9 that has no trouble writing to ProDOS floppies. It's a Color Classic that I modified by replacing the motherboard with one from a Performa 6320. It still has the original auto-inject floppy drive. I may be wrong but it sort of looks like a combination of hardware and software creates the problem. Wayne
