Yes, comparing your cable with mine, I think they are a lot alike. Yours
has a few more connections for hardware handshaking, but as I said, the IIc+
port doesn't do proper hardware handshaking anyway, so they shouldn't make a
difference.
The printer cable you mention should be essentially the same as the pinout I
posted. The cable you have might work, just start with a low bps rate and
no handshaking or software handshaking.
