Any Mac that can act as an AppleShare server on an Ethernet connection
should help. I use a Quadra 650CD (purchased for $50 from eBay so I
could play with HFS CD-ROMs), connected through an AAUI Ethernet adapter.
Configuring it as an AppleShare server let me verify that my IIgs was
working, so I could focus on the Linux/netatalk side.

Interesting choice. Not 6.0.1?

This speaks volumes. If you get the right color of lights on the
Farallon device, and the lights blink when they're supposed to, you're
in pretty good shape on the IIgs side.

This I haven't used.
