There were some problems with timing that the older 'Apple II Setup' disk
files had that were corrected in the seventh disk of System 6.0.1

In my one attempt of putting AS3.0 on Mac OS9 it didn't seem to want to
work and it hosed my Personal File Sharing so I haven't gotten back to
experimenting with that.
Actually I have an LCII running Mac sys 7 and AS3.0 that I use as a print
and file server test machine.

Ignoring the boot-ability, If you are wanting to use a PC or modern Mac as
file server you will probably need some sort of localtalk to Ethernet
bridge such as a GatorBox (known to work) or Etherwave Mac/PB (I think it
worked, it was several months ago I played with one of these).
And even then on the PC side you will need aditional software such as
PCMacLan.
