Well I'm not sure about the Contiki project but my IIGS is on an Appletalk
network thru the printer port to Mac475 (with IIe card) and PMac 8600 and
couple powerbooks and epson network printer. The IIGS has a direct stylewriter
hookup because it currently can't talk to the epson (although it can at 19200
and Normal speed via a standard apple II printer card-used in AII mode). All
machines see all disks except the IIGS's disks and the IIGS can see all disks
as well. The IIe card in the Mac even tried to boot from the network, although
I haven't let it go to completion. Data transfer is never a problem but the
IIGS sometimes can't report the size of the disks correctly (4GB in 8600).
