Precisely... And that's *ALL* that's needed for HTML. No formatting, no
auto-indenting, no fancy fonts, just *PLAIN TEXT EDITING*. That's all
HTML needs.

And for my nickel, quite frankly, it doesn't do *ANY* of them worth a
pinch of petrified poodle puke. It may in fact qualify as one of the
sorriest desecrations of the programmer's art to be passed off as an
application in the history of computers. Bloated beyond anything
resembling even the most liberal definition of reasonable, lamer than a
three-legged horse, and about as user-freindly as a wad of barbed-wired
toilet paper.
No thanks... You can keep your MS-Word (and MS-anything-else, for that
matter) and I'll stick to my Mac, with programs that will let me dash
off a note to Mom without requiring 85% of whatever system resources
you're lucky enough to have available after that ungodly perversion that
pretends to be an operating system loads.
(No, you're not imagining things... I do indeed despise microsoft
products, and wouldn't have them on my machine for any amount of money)
