Once you have your serial card this should be fairly straight forward. The
FAQ tells you where to download a bootable DOS3.3 image from (I missed it in
the FAQ the first time). What you do is redirect input from the keyboard to
the serial port, send the DOS3.3 image from a PC or Mac down the serial port
(which starts the apple monitor and types in the code) and it should all
work. Once you've done that bit you can then use ADT to transfer disk images
to your apple at much higher speed.
It's worth pointing out that the recommended end of line delay was VITAL for
me when I did this process, and you'll need LOW density (360K) 5.25 disks
(Usually they have a hub ring) 'cos the high(1.2M) density ones don't work.
