You're beating your head against a wall by trying to talk sense to this 
boy.

Mr. "Wolf" is one of the more vocal (though not neccesarily more 
coherent) bashers of OSX in quite a few of the Mac newsgroups. Seems 
that, unlike myself, he's not content to be a luddite and take the 
simple (and quite effective) expedient of simply not installing X if he 
doesn't like what he sees. Instead, he'd rather kick and scream, 
belly-ache, moan, pronounce grave threats of "switching to a Windows 
machine" (like any of us would actually care if one disgruntled twit 
decided he couldn't handle an actual OS and decided to go for that pile 
of bloatware from Microsoft instead) and similar histrionics all over 
the Mac groups. He appears to be convinced that it's his mission in life 
to spew as much BS on the topic as he possibly can, regardless of 
whether the BS has even a nodding aquaintance with a basis in fact or 
not. The only important thing to him is that everybody knows he's not 
pleased with Apple deciding to move into the future instead of clinging 
to the past. 

Think about it, John... Why SHOULD a state-of-the-art OS even make so 
much as a token ATTEMPT to support a filesystem that's been officially 
abandoned (never mind the fact that the machine it was designed to run 
on hasn't been manufactured for even longer) for almost 10 years?

Oh, and John: That's a rhetorical question. I don't actually expect a 
rational answer from you, so don't strain yourself trying. I'm already 
well aware from your previous performanaces on the various 
comp.sys.mac.* groups that there won't be one.
