I second that notion, Applecommander will do exactly what you want to
do extract and convert applesoft basic it into a  text file with
linefeeds and everything.   Really splendid program written in Java
and Open Source too!   So it will run under Linux or Windows or MacOS
no problem.  Really incredible piece of work!
