I think it's straight through, but not all pins are used. better to get a
correctly made one as some of the conductors will most likely be shielded.

in most GS Applications the shortcut keys are listed in the pull down
menu's.
Also I think Apple put some guidelines together for developers to follow.
not sure if it's on the net, but I think I've seen it in some of the
developer publications.

typically their is commonality between programs, so after you check a few
different apps you may be able to come to some common list yourself. ie OA-P
is normally be Print. OA-O is normally be Open etc.
