Maybe not via long-distance, but I would if it was accessible via TELNET on
the Internet. I remember "BBS Internet Gateway" that allows you to use a PC
as a gateway, bridging between a serial-based device and the Internet, then
access the gateway via TELNET. It was used  for the Boycott BBS. Is that
software available?
