PublishIt (no hyphen, just intercap) was certainly an ambitious and
capable desktop publishing program for the Apple //e. The fact that
it included a PostScript driver was pretty amazing, even if it didn't
support the native 300+ DPI resolution of most laser printers.
The thing about it that most amazed me was the name.
How any company could name a product "PublishIt" always
blew my mind! It must have been some kind of hypnotic
blind spot that they didn't see the scatological reference.
Or maybe they were fully aware of it--meaning that you
could use it to "publish sh*t"! ;-)
