You can use an 800k Mac drive from a Mac plus, Mac II, some SE, or even a 512KE. You might be able to use a superdrive(as an 800k) but I've never tried that. I once tried a 1.44mb mechanism inside a 3.5 UniDisk and it wouldn't function at all. Haven't a clue why.
