It seems the ghost of my former ISP has not deleted my home
directory.  I shall contact their admin and take the matter up
with them.

I say "ghost" because the original "blkbox.com" ceased operations on
1 September 2002 after 10 years as "Your Hometown ISP" in Houston,
Texas.  Its equipment and subscriber base (and domain name) were
acquired by another company.  In the confusion surrounding the events,
I decided to jump ship (got a better deal, besides).

So, the url and email address obfuscated in my .sig block below are
the only valid ones there are now.

The ADVENTure of decoding the From: line requires NO MAGIC, dot's all.
