Yes you can mix 5.25 & 3.5" drives on the card. It works similiarly to a Smartport, if there's no media in Drive one then it goes to the second drive in the drive two position. In some cercumstances that doesn't always work the best. Some software isn't the happiest if you're booting off say Slot 5, Drive 2. Wayne
